Daily Market Report All APMC – Agriculture Marketing : Research and Information Network (MRIN) A sub-scheme of ISAM was launched in March 2000 to provide electronic connectivity to the wholesale markets of the country. It aims to collect, analyze and disseminate market information to farmers, traders, policy makers and other stakeholders. More than 3200 markets are covered under this scheme and more than 2700 markets are reporting data on Agmarknet portal. More than 350 items and 2000 varieties are covered under this scheme.

Market or Mandi- Farmers can get instant access to mandi prices for their produce, market status and quantity as well as current trade prices. Farmers can also view price trends of their produce and plan for sale of their produce. Farmer can get last 3-updates on market transactions on any agricultural commodity at any point of time. Krishi Salah – It is a crop specific advisory service for different agro-climatic zones. These advisories and alerts are provided on the basis of research done by industry experts; Our agriculture advisories guide the rural farmers to initiate necessary and corrective actions based on the prevailing weather conditions.
Ask Our Experts – This is the USP of “IFFCO Kisan” Indian Farmer Agriculture App. Through this feature, farmers can talk to industry agriculture experts on one click and get agricultural advice. It is very useful for farmers who have difficulty in writing; e They can simply take a picture of the plant or the concerned area/disease and send it to our experts to study the issue through the app. Our experts will provide personalized agriculture solutions through voice call.

Helpline- Farmers can use special IKSL ‘534351’ agriculture helpline service through “IFFCO Green SIM Card” to reach IKSL experts and also get onetouch connectivity to farmer call center services number “18001801551” from IFFCO Kisan App Can KCC is an initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. It is managed by IFFCO Kisan Sanchar Limited.
Market Place- This feature is buyer and seller meeting platform, where a buyer or seller can register their buying or selling requirements. This will help them to buy or sell faster with higher profitability.
The scheme is being implemented by the Directorate of Marketing and Inspection with technical support from National Informatics Center (NIC) and collaboration with State Agricultural Marketing Boards/Directorates and APMCs.
Market information about the price and arrival etc. of agricultural produce is very important for the farmers to take appropriate production and marketing decisions. The existence and dissemination of complete and accurate market information is critical to achieving both operational and pricing efficiency in a marketing system.
Objective of the Scheme:
The Agmarknet portal also serves as a single-window for assessment of websites of various organizations related to agricultural marketing. It also provides weekly price trend reports for important markets in respect of major agricultural commodities. It is linked to online exchange portals to provide spot and future prices for important commodities.
