Kisan Parivahan Yojana 2022
Government of India implements new agricultural schemes to double the income of farmers. To achieve the objective, the Gujarat Government Farmers Scheme is released every year. Tractors are used by farmers to transport the crops produced in the field. Considering the low requirement of many farmers, they are also using Goods Carriage Vehicle to send to farm markets. Keeping in view that the Kisan Transport Yojana 2022 has been released so that the agricultural produce can be easily delivered to APMC and farmers can purchase goods carriage vehicles.
A scheme has been created to provide assistance from the government to farmers for goods vehicles which can get subsidy ranging from 50 to 75 thousand rupees.
Pre-requisite for availing the benefit of the scheme
Any farmer of the state can take advantage of this scheme.
One can take assistance per account once in five years.
The empaneled model of the empaneled company has to be purchased by the account.
Benefits of the scheme
The following assistance is provided under the scheme.
Category 1): Small/Marginal/Women/ST/ST farmers: 35% of total cost or Rs. 75,000/- whichever is less
Category 2): General/ Other Farmers : 25% of total cost or Rs. 50,000/- whichever is less
Method of availing the scheme
To avail the benefit of this scheme, the farmer has to apply on i-khedut portal (https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/) and follow the prescribed procedure.
The farmer can avail the benefit of this scheme subject to the resolution of the Govt.
For this scheme, one has to contact the District Agriculture Officer of the concerned district, whose information is on i-Khedoot portal.
