Aadhaar is a very important document in today’s world. It is mandatory to have support for banking or other important works starting from government work. Also, it is very important for all of us to be fully updated with the information given in the Aadhaar card. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) provides periodic updates on all types of Aadhaar. Now UIDAI is coming up with a banger plan to stop support related fraud.
UIDAI’s smash hit plan!
Now UIDAI has decided to link birth and death data with Aadhaar. Under this the newborn will now be given a temporary base number, later it will be upgraded with biometric data. Not only that, the record of death registration will also be linked to the Aadhaar so that the misuse of these numbers can be prevented. This means that the data from birth to death of each person will now be linked to the base.
Plan for two pilot projects
According to a UIDAI official, “Allocation of Aadhaar number with birth will ensure that the child and family get the benefit of government schemes. Because of this no one will be deprived of the benefits of social security. Similarly, linking Aadhaar with death data will prevent misuse of the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme. Now many such cases have come up in which its base was being used even after the death of the beneficiary. For this 2 pilot projects will be started soon.
Know what is Zero Support?
In fact, from time to time, UIDAI continues to offer plans for the benefit of customers. Now UAIDAI is also planning to allocate zero support. With this, fake Aadhaar number will not be generated, i.e., no fake of any kind. Under this one person cannot be allotted more than one Aadhaar number. Zero Aadhaar number is given to people who have no proof of birth, residence or income. The Aadhaar Introducer introduces such a person to the Aadhaar ecosystem through a verified electronic sign.
